mirad | matrix GmbH has platforms for the production of micro- & macro- porous polymer flat sheet materials.

Polymers of choice are PES, PSU, PvDF, CA.

Targeting gives the specific desired characteristics: flow, pore size, thickness, diffusion, binding, charge, wicking.

The uses range from being an high quality alternative to the standard offerings of large multinationals to discretely optimized unique materials for specific purpose.

In addition to the control of the physical geometry of the micro-structure, chemical modification technology allows us to vary wettability, charge and other characteristics of the base polymer.

The materials are produced as intrinsic monoliths. They are fiber free. Combinations of different layers is also possible.
